My husband is a big guy and he was able to fit into the XXL fine, the pants are HUGE, in just the pants could probably also fit a guy who wore 3-4X! The shirt is a narrower fit, he generally wears a 2X and it fit him true to size.
I am in the XS, my daughter is in the Larger and wears a M, and my son is in the 7/8 and they were a bit big and loose on him.
