Do we still care about what's on Oprah's favorite things list 2022 ?
Personally I don't… I loved watching her on TV while I was growing up, but is she really in tune with what we need as a general public — or is this just a money grabbing scheme for her own media empire?
I mean I don't knock it, but there's so many more down to earth, relevant influencers (ahhh-hmmm, excuse me: pointing to myself) wink-wink.
But I guess no one really cares what my favorite things are, so I digress.
Well, OK the toaster is on Sale for $400… And, I mean you can shove a Panini in there — but how many times a year are you making paninis? I once bought a panini machine and we used it a whole 1 time in the 10 years we had it. It wasn't even worth the $20 I spent on it.
I mean the toaster is cool but I'm NOT SPENDING $400 dollars on it (even on SALE). I will spend $500 on an ice machine, though – but I use it like 5x a day. (so yolo, buy what you want!). But we also give you tons of other affordable options like these ice machines that are under $100 and have over 18,000 reviews.
Here's what Oprah's Favorite Things 2022 has in it, or rather what her team pulled together (from all the FREE swag and companies that probably pay her to say their stuff is great….)
I mean it's OBVIOUS Amazon paid her to do this with them – It's strangely convenient how they can all be found on amazon…. Things that make you go hmmmm.
P.S. You don't find that water down nonsense with us. We buy our own products to test, it's why we have no money (haha) and we give you honesty. If we can find it somewhere for less or cheaper, we will find it!

I mean a $208 Wine Opener? WHAT in the FRESH HELL? We make a decent living and I WOULD NEVER waste my money on something like that. Just Heck, NO!
$150 Olive Oil Set? It must be nice to live ABOVE the economy, (eye roll). It just seems too out of touch for my liking. The price points are insane for this list that just SCREAM ELITIST.
Sorry Oprah, but I think your list sucks.
I just don't think you need to listen to someone who is so far above our pay-grade, it's just not realistic to shop like that. Especially with the economy the way it is, with so many of us struggle to pay for just essentials.
Come on we can do better… We're all about supporting all demographics here, especially those of use who struggle in the middle.
I'm off to go find way better deals than these.
